Booking a Bali wedding from overseas can of course be daunting. In the beginning, we were nervous planning our wedding from Australia given the obvious inability to experience the process in person and also had a shorter timeline than a typical wedding.
However, our nerves quickly faded as we began planning with Silver Lace in January 2023 for an August 2023 wedding. Silver Lace are pure professionals and clearly communicated with us each step of the way. They were consistently quick and concise in their responses to each random question or idea we would throw their way and always supported our vision and offered advice when we were undecided. We had no doubt the day would be amazing and trusted the team 100%. It was astounding not to hold the stress a typical bride/groom may feel in the lead up to the day – I certainly felt a bit guilty compared to my Aussie mates who were completely overwhelmed planning their weddings around Sydney.
We met Kadek & Nadia the day before the wedding for a run through which helped us answer any last minute queries. A lighting team arrived that evening to begin setting up and it all started to feel real! The next morning, the team/vendors arrived and we were blown away by the sheer number of staff working. It was quite humbling and we deeply appreciated their meticulous work.
On the day, everything ran like clockwork. Kadek, Nurul, Nadia & the team were nothing short of amazing. They made sure everything ran seamlessly with zero interruption and continued to take last minute requests so graciously.
Every single detail – from the hair & make-up, lighting, ceremony set up, reception, decor, flowers, drinks & food, champagne tower, band, DJ, photographer, etc. was absolutely perfect. Again, planning a wedding overseas meant we were expecting things not be exactly how we envisioned it, but we can 1000% say our wedding exceeded every expectation we had. Our guests were so impressed and we haven’t stopped receiving compliments of how beautiful/smoothly the day ran.
It was incredible to see our dreams come to life. Everything we advised the team was executed to a tee. The day was more perfect than we could’ve imagined and we were absolutely blown away.

Hiring the Silver Lace team to plan our wedding was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
Right from the beginning we got an amazing vibe from Kevin. We were planning our wedding from Denmark and Australia so communication was so important and Kevin was all over it! He was in contact with us constantly which always kept us feeling reassured and excited for our big day.
He answered all of our questions, handled all of our requests, really got to know us and built an amazing trust with us. We always knew that when we hit a bump Kevin would take care of it. He gave us amazing recommendations and advice with vendors and then handled all of the communications, planning and payments with them so that we never felt stressed or overwhelmed.
On the wedding day Kevin and Kadek were amazing. The day ran so smoothly that we barely even saw them. Everything was planned so well, they were so professional and we were able to just relax and enjoy the best day of our lives.
We can’t recommend them highly enough. From the moment we had our first Skype until the hugs at the end of the night they were fun, down to earth, professional and really good at what they do. We can’t thank them enough for the perfect day.
