Bali Wedding PLANNING FAQs

How much does a wedding in Bali cost?

The total overall budget for a Bali wedding depends heavily on your guest numbers and venue choice. While Bali offers incredible value compared to Western venues, a complete private villa or estate wedding for around 50 guests (including the venue, catering, decor, and our planning services) generally starts around $13,500 USD. We work closely with our couples to make the most of their budget while creating a wedding experience that reflects what matters most to them.

When is the best time of year to get married in Bali?

The best time for a Bali wedding is during the dry season, which runs from April to October, offering the most consistent conditions for outdoor and villa celebrations. However, getting married outside this window is entirely possible. If you are planning a wedding during the wetter months (November to March), we implement smart weather logistics and solid structures so your day runs smoothly and comfortably, regardless of the forecast.

How far in advance should we start planning a wedding in Bali?

We recommend starting to plan your Bali destination wedding 12 to 18 months in advance. Securing prime dates at popular private estates and clifftop venues requires early booking, especially during the peak season. Reserving your date a year or more out allows our experienced team to secure the right professionals, manage all logistics properly, and develop your wedding design without unnecessary time pressure.

Do we need to be in Bali during the planning process?

No, most of the planning can be managed remotely before you arrive in Bali. We handle venue communication, supplier coordination, timelines, budgeting, styling development, and logistics through organised online planning and scheduled calls throughout the process. Many couples visit Bali once before the wedding, while others only arrive shortly before the celebration itself. We adapt the planning process around your schedule and level of involvement.
