Bali Wedding Planning & Styling

What Planning With Us Looks Like

Planning a wedding in Bali from overseas shouldn't feel like a second job. That’s really the whole point of what we do: we take on the parts that are stressful and time consuming so you’re not the one chasing vendors or figuring out logistics you’ve never had to think about before.

What We Actually Do

We handle the whole thing, start to finish, as one continuous service rather than a bunch of separate add-ons you have to piece together.

  • Full-service wedding planning.

From your first call through to the last song of the night, we’re the ones running it.

  • Styling and design.

We build the look and feel of your day so it holds together visually, not just venue by venue.

  • Wedding day coordination.

On the day, we’re the ones dealing with anything that comes up, so you’re not.

  • Venue and vendor sourcing.

We already know which venues and vendors in Bali actually deliver, so you're not gambling on someone we haven't worked with.

  • Legal and ceremony logistics.

Whether you want a legal ceremony in Indonesia or a symbolic one, we walk you through what’s actually required.

How It Actually Unfolds

  • Getting your bearings.

First we talk through what matters most to you, your guests, your priorities, what you’re picturing for the day. Everything else builds from here.

  • Finding the venue.

We point you toward places that actually fit your style and the number of people you’re bringing, not just what looks good in photos.

  • Building the design.

Your ideas get turned into an actual concept, not just a mood board that never goes anywhere.

  • Putting your team together.

We handle every conversation with vendors so you're not juggling five different email threads.

  • Keeping everything organised.

You get a private online space with your timeline, documents, and updates, so nothing’s buried in your inbox.

  • Mapping out the day itself.

We plan the flow so the day feels unhurried instead of rushed from one thing to the next.

  • Running the day.

We’re there managing everything quietly in the background so you can actually be present with your guests.

Bali Wedding Planner Cost

Every wedding is different, so the total cost depends on your venue, guest count, and how much production goes into the day. But here’s what we can tell you upfront:

Our planning fee starts at $2,500 USD. That covers the whole planning and coordination process: venue sourcing, vendor management, design direction, timeline planning, and running the day itself. You're working with one point of contact the entire way through, not passed between different people at different stages.

Vendor costs are charged at their actual rate. We don't mark up what vendors charge, and there are no hidden fees tucked into your proposal. Every quote is itemised so you can see exactly where your money's going.

Want a real number for your wedding? Tell us your guest count and what you’re picturing, and we’ll put together a proposal built around your actual day.

Questions About Working With Us

Do we actually need a wedding planner in Bali, or can the venue coordinator handle it?

For most private villas, the question is settled before you ask it. Villas host weddings but generally don't staff an in-house wedding team, and most require you to book a planner from their approved list before they'll confirm the date. If you've set your heart on a villa, a planner isn't an optional extra. It's part of securing the venue.

Resorts are different. They usually do have an in-house coordinator, and for something small and straightforward at a resort that runs weddings regularly, you may genuinely be fine without one. Worth knowing what that role covers, though: they'll run the space on the day, but they're not sourcing your photographer, negotiating with outside vendors, building your design, or managing the twelve months beforehand. And they work for the resort, so when something needs deciding between your interests and the venue's, they're not the person in your corner.

If you're planning from overseas, bringing in vendors the venue doesn't provide, or doing anything custom, that's where a planner earns their fee regardless of venue type.

What's the difference between your planning fee and the total wedding budget?

Two separate things, and it's worth being clear about which is which. Our planning fee starts at $2,500 USD. That's what you pay us for the planning, design, vendor management, and running the day. Your total budget is everything else on top: venue, catering, photography, flowers, entertainment, and so on. For around 50 guests at a private villa, a complete wedding usually starts near $13,500 USD with our fee included. So the fee is a slice of the total, not an addition to a number you've already been quoted.

How do payments work when we're sending money from overseas?

Most couples now use an international payment service like Wise. It's straightforward, the exchange rates are usually better than a bank's, and it avoids the friction that comes with a large international transfer.

Bank transfer works too. If you go that route, we'd suggest arranging it as a SWIFT transfer through your local branch rather than your banking app, since some online platforms decline large international transfers unless you've spoken to your bank first. Worth sorting that out before your first payment is due rather than on the day.

If you'd rather pay by credit or debit card, we can arrange an electronic invoice. Card payments carry a 3.5% processing fee, which is the processor's charge rather than ours.

We're a legally registered Indonesian company, established in 2014 and a member of the Bali Wedding Association, so you're not transferring money to an individual's personal account.

Do you charge a flat fee or a percentage of our budget?

A flat fee, starting at $2,500 USD and based on the scope of your wedding rather than what you spend. We think percentage-based pricing puts the planner and the couple on opposite sides. If the fee grows every time the budget does, there's a quiet incentive to steer you toward the more expensive option. We'd rather give you honest advice about where spending is worth it and where it isn't.
