Karen & Tommy, The Surga Estate, Ungasan, Bali.
Karen and Tommy’s wedding at The Surga Estate Bali was defined by clarity and restraint, letting the setting lead without excess. Set above the ocean on the Bukit cliffs, the ceremony unfolded along a clean white aisle framed with layered white florals and soft greenery. A suspended canopy of lights added structure overhead while keeping the view open. Karen wore a fitted lace gown with delicate detailing, while Tommy kept it classic in a black tuxedo. The palette stayed intentionally soft, allowing texture and proportion to do the work rather than colour.
The reception shifted seamlessly into evening with long tables running parallel to the aisle, dressed in low floral arrangements and warm candlelight. As the light faded, the space transformed under a ceiling of fairy lights, drawing guests into a more intimate atmosphere without changing the layout. A floral framed stage anchored the evening, leading into moments that felt natural rather than staged, from the champagne tower to the sparkler exit and fireworks overhead. It was a wedding that relied on balance, consistency and timing, letting each part build without interruption.
