Kelsey & Jason’s Bali Wedding at Villa Phalosa

There are some weddings where the atmosphere builds slowly throughout the day, and then there are weddings like Kelsey and Jason’s, where the moment the lights come on, the party really begins.

On 8 August 2026, Kelsey and Jason celebrated their wedding at Villa Phalosa in Bali, surrounded by family and friends. The day brought together an outdoor ceremony, white florals, a relaxed garden setting and a reception that carried on well into the night.

An outdoor Bali wedding ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors, with the decorated floral chapel framing the setting and the gardens and beach providing the backdrop.

White flowers were used throughout the ceremony design, keeping everything elegant and fresh against the green surroundings. The aisle was lined with flowers and gold chairs, creating a simple but polished setting for the ceremony.

Afterwards, Kelsey and Jason spent time with their wedding party and guests before everyone moved into the evening celebrations.

A reception under the lights

As the sun went down, the atmosphere changed completely.

The reception was set beneath a canopy of warm string lights, stretching across the space and creating a beautiful glow over the tables and dance floor. White flowers continued through the reception design, while the open-air setting kept everything relaxed.

It was the kind of setup that didn't need to be overcomplicated. The lighting, the setting and the people created most of the atmosphere.

And then the party started

Kelsey and Jason's reception was definitely not a quiet one.

There was dancing, a DJ, a fire performance and plenty of time on the dance floor with friends and family. The evening had a real party atmosphere, with guests dancing beneath the lights and the couple right in the middle of it.

And then came the fireworks.

With the reception glowing below, fireworks lit up the sky and gave the evening one of those moments that is difficult to recreate. Kelsey and Jason watched from the lawn before heading back into the celebrations.

A wedding that felt like them

What stands out about Kelsey and Jason's wedding isn't one particular detail. It's the way everything came together.

The ceremony was beautiful without feeling overly formal. The reception was elegant but still relaxed. And once the music started, everyone was there to celebrate.

That's always what we want when we're planning a destination wedding in Bali. The styling matters, the logistics matter and the details matter, but ultimately the wedding should feel like the couple, not a template.

Kelsey and Jason's day at Villa Phalosa was exactly that.
