Catherine & David's Lush Villa Wedding at Puri Nirwana Bali

When you picture a private villa wedding in Bali, this is exactly the kind of celebration that comes to mind. Catherine and David chose Puri Nirwana for their day, utilizing the massive estate perfectly. Even though the villa sits right on the beach, they leaned heavily into the tropical surroundings, creating a highly styled event backed by incredibly lush greenery.

The afternoon started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Instead of an elaborate floral arch, they let the venue speak for itself by exchanging vows in front of a massive wall of tropical foliage. With crisp white flowers lining the aisle and their closest friends watching, it felt incredibly intimate and deeply connected to the natural Bali landscape.

After the ceremony, an acoustic duo set the mood for cocktail hour on the lawn while the couple sneaked away for a few quick portraits on the black sand beach just steps away.

As the sun went down, the reception space completely transformed the vibe of the evening. They set up long wooden banquet tables under crystal chandeliers, and even included low seating with floor cushions for a really relaxed lounge style dinner setup. Guests grazed on a massive artisanal cheese board before Catherine and David made their grand entrance alongside a live saxophone player.

The night naturally transitioned onto the white outdoor dance floor. From the groom lifting his bride during their first dance to everyone gathering for a massive group photo under the warm string lights, it was exactly the kind of party a destination wedding should be.
