Michelle & Johns Vibrant Vow Renewal at Karang Saujana Bali
A vow renewal is the ultimate excuse to throw an incredible party, and Michelle and John did exactly that. Hosting their celebration at the clifftop Karang Saujana, they completely bypassed the standard wedding playbook. Instead of quiet traditions, they focused on bold design, interactive dining, and an unforgettable experience for their family and friends.
The ceremony setup was an absolute standout. Rather than a traditional lawn setup, a clear acrylic stage was built directly over the infinity pool, giving the illusion that the family was standing on water. They also skipped the usual white and green color palette. The clear stage was anchored by a striking, asymmetrical floral arch filled with deep reds, vibrant purples, and crisp whites. It was modern, unexpected, and perfectly suited to the dramatic ocean backdrop.
As the ceremony wrapped, the energy seamlessly shifted into a relaxed but highly styled outdoor dinner. Long banquet tables were set under warm string lights, featuring gold chairs and incredibly unique table styling that incorporated fresh green grapes into the purple floral runners. To keep the evening interactive, dinner was served from custom thatch roof food stalls on the lawn, allowing guests to mingle and grab signature lemongrass cocktails at their own pace.
Once the sun went down, the formalities were officially over. The night escalated with a thrilling fire dancing performance on the lawn before the couple cut into a sleek rectangular cake topped with fresh citrus fruits. By the time the sparklers came out, the pool stage had transformed into a massive outdoor dance floor, with Michelle, John, and their kids right in the center of the crowd.
