Sisi & Victor’s Celebration at Villa Pala
Sisi and Victor’s celebration at Villa Pala was never about following a traditional wedding format.
There was no formal ceremony. Instead, the day was about bringing their friends and family together, enjoying the setting, eating, drinking and having a really good time.
Sisi made a pretty unforgettable entrance in a bold red gown, while their guests were asked to dress in white. Against the tropical setting at Villa Pala, the contrast worked beautifully.
From sunset drinks and live music through to dinner, fireworks and a late-night swim, this was a celebration that was always going to end with everyone in the pool.
Red, white and a lot of colour
The day started with Sisi getting ready at the villa.
Her red gown was the standout from the beginning, with a fitted silhouette and dramatic detailing that looked completely at home against the tropical surroundings.
Victor kept things classic in a black tuxedo, while their guests followed the all-white dress code.
The flowers brought plenty of colour into the setting too, with tropical blooms used around the welcome area and throughout the reception.
It gave the whole day a really strong look without needing to overcomplicate things.
Sunset drinks and live music
With no ceremony to rush towards, everyone could simply enjoy the afternoon.
Guests gathered around the villa for drinks as the sun started to drop, with a live singer and guitarist providing the soundtrack.
Sisi and Victor also took some time for photographs together, making the most of the changing light and the tropical gardens around Villa Pala.
It was relaxed from the start, with everyone already in celebration mode.
Dinner under the lights
As evening arrived, the reception came together outside.
Long tables were set beneath warm string lights and lanterns, with tropical flowers, woven chargers and plenty of candles adding texture to the tables.
Sisi and Victor sat at a floral sweetheart table while their guests settled in around them.
There were speeches, plenty of toasts and a lot of laughter, with the atmosphere staying relaxed rather than feeling like a formal wedding reception.
Then the party really started
After dinner, Sisi and Victor had their first dance beneath the lights.
The live music continued before the dance floor gradually filled up and everyone joined in.
There was a lot of dancing, a bouquet toss and plenty of photographs of people simply having a great time.
And then came the fireworks.
Fireworks and a very wet ending
The fireworks lit up the sky above Villa Pala while everyone watched from the lawn.
It was a pretty spectacular moment, but it wasn't the end of the night.
Once the fireworks were over, the party carried on beneath the lights.
And eventually, the pool won.
Sisi, Victor and their guests ended up in the water, still dressed up and still celebrating. What had started as a beautifully styled evening had turned into a full-blown pool party.
It was probably the most fitting way the night could have finished.
A celebration without the usual rules
What we loved about Sisi and Victor's day was that they didn't feel the need to include things simply because they were expected at a wedding.
There was no formal ceremony to work around. Instead, the focus was on the people, the setting and having a great night together.
The red dress, all-white guests, tropical flowers, live music, fireworks and pool party gave the celebration plenty of personality, but none of it felt forced.
It was simply a really good party in a beautiful part of Bali.
And sometimes that's exactly what a celebration should be.
