Tegan & Liam’s Wedding at Uluwatu Cottages
Tegan and Liam’s wedding at Uluwatu Cottages had a bit of everything.
A clifftop ceremony overlooking the ocean, soft peach and pink florals, a vintage Vespa, dinner under the stars and a saxophone player who eventually ended up in the middle of the dance floor.
It was relaxed from the start, but there was still plenty of thought behind the details.

The ceremony took place right on the edge of the cliff at Uluwatu Cottages, with the ocean stretching out behind the guests.
The flowers were kept soft and warm, with peach daisies and pink roses adding colour against the greenery. Tegan carried a pastel bouquet, while Liam wore a dark green suit and black bow tie.
It was a beautiful setting without needing too much added to it.
After the ceremony, guests tossed flower petals as Tegan and Liam walked back down the aisle, followed by a big group photo with everyone gathered together on the lawn.
A few photos, a Vespa and then back to the party
There was no disappearing for hours of wedding portraits.
Tegan and Liam spent a little time on the grass with their friends and family before getting back to their guests. They also managed to find a vintage white Vespa, which made for some of the more fun photographs of the day.
It suited them perfectly.
The custom mirror welcome sign and cocktails were already set up for the reception, so everyone could settle in and enjoy the afternoon while the light started to change.
Dinner under the stars
As the sun went down, the reception came to life.
Long wooden tables were set beneath the open sky, with candles glowing across the tables and peach and white flowers running through the centre.
The whole setup was warm and relaxed rather than overly formal. With the ocean and clifftop setting around them, there really wasn't much need to add anything more.
There were speeches, plenty of laughs and, of course, the wedding cake before everyone started making their way towards the dance floor.
And then the music took over
Once the formal part of the evening was finished, things changed pretty quickly.
The wooden dance floor filled up, the bridal party made their entrance and a saxophone player joined the crowd.
Tegan and Liam were right in the middle of it all, dancing with their friends and family. At one point Liam was dancing with a child on his shoulders, and later the couple ended up being lifted onto their friends' shoulders while they kissed.
That pretty much summed up the night.
Fireworks over the ocean
And then came the fireworks.
Tegan and Liam stood together as the sky lit up above the water, giving the evening one last big moment before everyone went straight back to dancing.
It was a fitting end to a wedding that had never taken itself too seriously.
A wedding with a little bit of everything
What worked so well about Tegan and Liam's day was the balance.
The ceremony was beautiful and the styling was considered, but the day never felt overly formal. There was plenty of time to enjoy the setting, spend time with their guests and have a bit of fun along the way.
The Vespa, the saxophone, the candlelit dinner and the fireworks were all great moments, but what made the day work was that everything still felt connected.
It was their wedding, in one of the most spectacular parts of Bali, with the people they wanted around them.
And they definitely knew how to throw a party.
